For a classic chilli con carne that will take your taste buds on a Tex-Mex journey, all you need to do is fry 500 g of minced beef before adding a finely diced onion and two cloves of chopped garlic. Once the onion is translucent, add 2 tablespoons of tomato purée. Then add a can of red kidney beans, a can of chopped tomatoes and 250 ml of beef stock to the pot along with 3-4 tsp of our chili con carne seasoning. For those who like it extra spicy, a finely chopped fresh chili can be added. Simmer over a medium heat for about 30 minutes. Served with a dollop of sour cream and freshly chopped coriander, this chilli offers a delicious Tex-Mex experience.
