Tex Mex spice
The term Tex-Mex is based on the cuisine of Texas and Mexico. Known for fiery and aromatic dishes. The Young Kitchen Tex Mex spice combines the heat of cayenne pepper and pepper mixed with paprika, cumin, oregano, cane sugar and sea salt. Especially to dishes such as tortillas, stews, chili con carne fits this spice blend.
Tex Mex spice preparation Young Kitchen
Tip: Marinate 400 g chicken breast strips in marinade (1 tbsp Tex Mex and 2-3 tbsp oil) for 20 min. Cut 2 peppers and 1 onion into strips and spread on 2 baking sheets with the chicken breast strips. Spread remaining marinade on peppers and onions and grill in oven at 220 degrees (top/bottom heat). Arrange in wheat tortillas with any filling.
