A typical dish for Cajun cuisine is the jambalaya stew. And this is how it works: First you need a chicken breast, which you cut into cubes of about 2x2 cm, 100 g of sliced chorizo and 8 peeled shrimps. For a good dose of flavor, grab the above ingredients and marinate them with 1.5 tablespoons of Cajun for about an hour. Then fry the meat with the shrimp in 4 tablespoons of olive oil, remove it from the pan and let it rest. In the same oil, sauté 1 diced bell bell pepper. Next, add 1 can of chunky tomatoes (400 g), 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning, 250 ml of chicken broth and 250 g of rice. Now bring to a boil and simmer for at least 20 minutes. If necessary, you can add some chicken broth. Then it is almost done. The last thing to add is the meat and shrimp. Let it simmer for another 5 minutes. And you've already tried out a new, delicious recipe!
By the way, Cajun is the name of a group of people of French origin who have been living in Louisiana in the south of the USA since 1760.
