Marjoram is one of the most famous herbs and an integral part of our German cuisine. The herb, which is closely related to oregano, is mainly used for its intense taste in many hearty dishes such as liver dumplings or fried potatoes as well as in numerous stews, soups and meat dishes. Cabbage dishes also benefit from both the taste and the effect of the spice. Our tip: It is best to add it at the end of the cooking time and not to cook it for too long!
