Spice shaker oregano, grated

Who does not know the most popular pizza spice? The tangy, aromatic herb is an indispensable ingredient in tomato sauces, steamed fish dishes, sugos, braised beef and grilled vegetables. Oregano has only been used for seasoning for about 200 years. Previously, it was used as a remedy, however, already by the ancient Greeks, which is why the name originally comes from the Greek and means something like "ornament of the mountains".
