Spice shaker rosemary, finely cut

What one associates with a vacation on the Mediterranean? Warm temperatures, the sound of the sea and not to forget: the light summer scent of rosemary. The evergreen, small shrub has always been appreciated and loved. While in ancient Rome and Greece the dark green herb was considered a good luck charm for marriage and a defense against evil spirits, nowadays its seductive aroma lands it in pots all over the world. Its slightly tart, resinous aroma is perfect with white meats or vegetables of Mediterranean origin, such as tomatoes, zucchini, peppers and eggplant. But also in sauces, oil and tomato soups, to lamb or game dishes or on cheese and pizza, the fir-like leaves do great. Our tip: jam with rosemary!
