Lemon grass, in Asia it already belongs to the everyday life, with us it is still a right exotic! With lemons the spice has botanically thereby however nothing at all to do, but belongs to the grass family. For cooking, only the stems of the tender plant are used. Starting with soups and curries, through fish, meat and salad to rice or noodle pans, the spice can be used in pretty much any Asian dish. Gladly seen companions are coconut milk, chili and peanuts!
