Recipe of the month for February: curd fritters

In our endeavor to present you a new, delicious recipe every month, we were busy again in February. Keep your taste buds in check because there are:

Curd fritters!

First, of course, we need ingredients:

  • 250g curd cheese
  • 250 g flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 8 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1TL hard grain bourbon vanilla
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1/2 tsp hard grain soda
  • Oil for frying
  • Powdered sugar

And then it starts:

In the first step we mix the flour, the eggs, the curd cheese, the vanilla, the salt and the baking soda together and knead the whole thing into a nice dough. This can then rest a little while we heat the deep-fry or a saucepan with oil. With the help of 2 spoons, we can form cams from the dough. The donuts then migrate into the hot fat and remain there according to personal preference and until the desired “crispiness” is reached. Then remove the donuts and drain the excess oil onto a kitchen towel. Finally sprinkle with powdered sugar and you’re done! Enjoy the meal!
