Recipe of the month for December 2016: Christmas cupcakes

A different gingerbread spice: delicious cupcakes!

You need these ingredients:

For the dough:

  •  200g butter
  •  200g sugar
  •  200g flour

  •  150g ground almonds

  •  1 pinch of salt

For the topping:

  •  200g soft butter
  •  180g powdered sugar
  •  200g cream cheese
  •  2 tsp hartkorn gingerbread spice

And this is how it is done:

Mix the butter with the eggs and the sugar until frothy. Gradually stir in the flour, cocoa, baking powder, salt, vanilla pulp, gingerbread spice and ground almonds. Fill the dough into the paper cases (approx. 50 g per case). Bake in the oven at 160 ° for approx. 20-25 minutes. For the topping butter, powdered sugar and 2 teaspoons of gingerbread seasoning, whip to a smooth mass using an electric hand mixer. Gradually stir in the cream cheese. Pour the mixture into a piping bag with a star nozzle and sprinkle on the cooled cupcakes. Possibly. garnish with chocolate sprinkles or love pearls.
