Another stressful day and little time to prepare even a little something for lunch? All day just on the go, but not in the mood for another sandwich at the bakery or fast food?
No problem. The solution? Wraps! For creative variety at lunchtime, you can easily conjure up a few delicious wraps in a hurry. There are endless combinations here and the preparation can be mastered without problems even for tired sleepyheads or mufflers. Whether fresh ingredients like in our recipe suggestion, treasures still found in the depths of the fridge that urgently need to be recycled or remaining items from the previous day, the wrap is open for everything and is also ideal for taking away for school, university, work or long car trips .
Recipe for a wrap
- 1/3 of a small chicken breast
- 1/2 tomato
- 1/4 pepper
- 4 small lettuce leaves
- some cream cheese
- 1 flatbread
- 2 tbsp sunflower oil
- 1 tsp Young Kitchen Hot Chili Mix
Marinate the chicken breast with the oil and Young Kitchen Hot Chili Mix for 5 minutes, fry and cut into 1/2 cm slices. Cut the tomato and bell pepper into small pieces and pluck the lettuce leaves into small pieces. Brush the whole wrap with cream cheese. Load one half of the wraps with tomato, bell pepper, chicken breast and salad and roll them up into a tight roll.
Simply wrap the wrap in cling film for on the go, so you can also eat it on the go.
